Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
Perform various prep tasks, such as washing, chopping, and mixing ingredients.
Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and consistency.
Plate dishes in a visually appealing manner.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to management.
Communicate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Clean and sanitize cooking equipment and surfaces at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is often required.
Experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
Proficiency with various kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
Strong knife skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.

MARKET STAFF

Pay: $15–$16/HR

Assist customers in a friendly, professional manner throughout the store.
Serve customers at the deli counter, including slicing meats, cheeses, and preparing deli items.
Serve customers at the meat counter, assisting with product selection and packaging.
Scoop and serve ice cream while maintaining cleanliness and presentation.
Operate the register and check out customers efficiently and accurately.
Learn and use our POS (Point of Sale) system.
Restock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep products organized and full.
Help maintain and track inventory.
Rotate products and ensure freshness standards are met.
Keep workstations, counters, and customer areas clean and sanitized.
Assist with opening/closing duties and general store upkeep.
Work as a team to provide excellent customer service in all areas of the market.
